Pentair obtains the three ISO certifications on safety, environment and quality

The PENTAIR brand, a worldwide leader in the creation of intelligent and sustainable water solutions for people, businesses and industries, has obtained for its Italian-based plants the three certifications UNI ISO 45001:2018, UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 and UNI EN ISO 9001:2015.

With great commitment and dedication, Pentair therefore achieves the highest standards in terms of:

Safety at work

Environmental commitment

Product quality

The Italian plants in Pisa, Novara and Brescia are the first within the Pentair group to obtain all three certifications. The achievement fills the plants and its employees with pride, especially for the UNI ISO 45001:2018 standard, an international standard that specifies the requirements for an occupational health and safety management system, to provide safe and healthy workplaces to employees and external staff.

The Italian sites also obtain UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 certification, which establishes the criteria for a management system that focuses on the effectiveness of quality processes, helping to work more efficiently, and UNI EN ISO 14001:2015, aimed at environmental management, with which Pentair once again demonstrates its pursuit of environmental protection, pollution prevention, and the reduction of energy and resource consumption.

"When in 2019 Francescantonio (EHS Manager & RSPP Italy) proposed to Davide Buccieri (Ops Director) to achieve the two certifications (14001 & 45001) in three years, I thought it was a utopia. Instead, the team achieved it all in 2 years and a half. It was quite a journey, with a lot of rough edges, but in the end the team managed to achieve this.

I am very happy to be part of this team and to achieve 45001, 14001 and 9001 as first Pentair plant. It is a source of pride. The cultural implications of this achievement are huge. Now we have to maintain it and think about the next goal."

"Pentair Italy's sites with its employees and managers have journeyed together over the past three years on the journey of certifying their plants' environmental and safety management systems to international standards. Pentair Italy's plants are the first to have achieved this type of certification overall compared to all Pentair plants.

The result achieved is an important milestone for Pentair's company but above all for its employees. The result has been achieved with the support of everyone and will require the continued daily participation of everyone. This achievement is the first step in the journey that will lead Pentair Italy to excel in protecting the health of its employees and protecting the environment with respect to the impact of its business."
